Founded in 2024, Atelier Aqui is a London-based interior design studio specialising in residential projects in the UK and internationally. The studio is led by Morgane Palacios, whose work is defined by a balance of thoughtful detailing, material sensitivity, and a refined, artistic sensibility.

Morgane began her formal training in New York, studying at Parsons School of Design and the Art Institute, before gaining experience with a range of studios including Aguirre Design, a bespoke furniture atelier; Joel Fitzpatrick Design, focusing on interiors; Charles Zana Architecture; and The Principals, known for their work at the intersection of architecture and installation pieces.

After returning to Europe, Morgane joined her mother’s firm, Federica Palacios Design, in Switzerland, where she spent five years leading residential projects in London and contributing to a range of international projects.

Following a career pause to raise her two daughters, Morgane now returns to practice with Atelier Aqui.

Morgane’s design perspective is deeply informed by her international experience and rich creative heritage, with both her mother and grandmother working as interior designers—and her grandmother also known for her work as a Modern Art and Post-War art collector and gallery owner. This rich family heritage continues to inform Morgane’s visual education and intuitive sense of space, forming the foundation of Atelier Aqui’s approach: one that favours quiet elegance, layered materiality, and enduring comfort.
